I think there's still a lot of Z drivers who really aren't into their cars, they have 350's because it's the latest thing or 300's because it's just good-looking transport to them. I see a woman regularly around Oakland who has a '95 TT and even though it's spotless and has aftermarket wheels, she's so glamma (at least 5-inch nails) that I highly doubt she even knows where the gas tank release is. I rolled up to a 350Z the other night at a stoplight, and asked the guy which model he had, and he actually said to me, "It's a Nissan 350Z". I said, "I know that, which MODEL is it?" "Nissan!" "No man, is it the Track, Perfomance, etc." "oh oh, it's the Enthusiast.." and then he asked me what kind of car I was driving. Sigh. Plus, these days, you never know if the person next to you is being friendly or crazy unfortunately...
